Good news everyone! Despite wranglings with pyblosxom, I'm still able to bring you another high quality seasonal picture. Taken just last week, we've got some lovely frosty leaves.

Good news everyone! After my abscence last week (holiday in Bristol), I'm back, and I have photos. In fact, partly because I didn't put one up last week, and partly because I couldn't choose between these two, there are two this week. As you can see, I was experimenting with long exposures. These are 2 and 4 seconds long, I think, which means I really needed a tripod, but even though they're hand-held I think they capture the motion of the anemone swishing in the water quite nicely.

Flash used : No
Focal length : 7.3mm
Exposure time: 0.167 s (1/6)
Aperture : f/2.6
ISO equiv. : 100
Metering Mode: matrix
Exposure : aperture priority (semi-auto)
Flash used : No
Focal length : 7.3mm
Exposure time: 2.000 s
Aperture : f/10.0
ISO equiv. : 100
Metering Mode: matrix
Exposure : aperture priority (semi-auto)

Actually, on reflection, I think something between the two would be best - the first has too little motion, the second too much. Ho hum.

Good news everyone! The shorter days are making it hard to get out and take photos, so I'm going to have to either make better use of my weekends and lunch times, or do some indoor stuff. I might even experiment with some super-long exposure stuff. However, this week its a reminder of warmer, lighter, days: sunset in a pine forest on the south coast of Spain.

Exposure time: 0.020 s (1/50)
Aperture : f/10.0
