Cow Invasion
No new shots taken this week, but I hope to rectify that at the weekend. As my shot of some cows caused so much pleasure a week or two back, I thought I'd spread the love with some of the outtakes from that photo-shoot.

Hurried post processing because I had to do three of them rather than just one: bit of cropping, overlay to boost colour a wee bit, resized etc to get them onto the same image, unsharp mask.

Empty
This was done for a Fujimugs challenge: Empty. In case it's not obvious, it's the inside of a wine bottle, taken through the neck. I had some that were plenty more abstract than this. I now consider myself an expert on the insides of wine bottles, having emptied and photographed a few to get this shot. Trouble is, you always end up taking photos when drunk. Mooove along, nothing to see here.
Sorry, couldn't resist a moo pun. Can't go to Yorkshire without saying hello to a few cows, and these were very friendly. Shame about the out of focus stick in the foreground - wish I'd noticed that when taking the shot.

Nothing special post-processing wise, guassian blur overlay, vignette, and a bit more sharpening than I usually use to bring out the texture in their skin.

Enough to share.
Bit of a late one this week, as I've been away for a few days on holiday with my family, but I'm back now. As always, when hurried, the old flower plus insect combo has been wheeled out again, but I like this as it has had absolutely no post processing done. Not even a crop. And I'm really quite pleased with it, especially the gorgeous green in the background.
